Judges: Dave Decker (Maryland, USA), Dusty Gulden (Maryland, USA), Francis Guichard (France)

A total of 14 symbolic emblem designs were entered this year.  All items were designed by artists in the United States.  This year’s designs were created on a variety of media including five patches, a pin, four posters, a storm drain marker, educational booklet, two stickers, and a set of three postcards.  The designs were evaluated for impact, artistic rendition, caver appeal, and technical quality.
